Title and Summary

Software Engineer II (Informatica, EDC, Developer)

Overview/ Role
3 Yrs +
•\tAssist in the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
•\tSupport and maintain Informatica EDC installation that currently scans and profiles all data in enterprise (approximately 600 apps).
•\tLeverage industry standard practices to develop policies, guidelines, tools, metrics, and standards for managing metadata.
•\tPlan, lead, and perform research to help address issues related to establishing metadata within client.
•\tImplement policies, guidelines, tools, metrics, and standards for managing metadata.
•\tActively participate in related technical and programmatic meetings and working groups.
•\tIdentify and mitigate metadata risk.
•\tCommunicate and improve the metadata enterprise architecture
•\tWork with peer to onboard up to 50 apps/month
•\tWork with data stewards to identify business terms.
•\tServe as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
•\tDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
•\tDemonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

All About You
•\t3+ years' experience in data integration, preferably on Informatica platform.
•\t3+ years' experience on Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog platform.
•\tEDC optimization and performance calibration preferred.
•\tSkilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
•\tFlexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments.
•\tPhenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high level decision makers.
•\tStrong knowledge on designing, developing and deploying application using Informatica developer tool
•\t3+ years working in a data governance discipline including business glossary use, data catalog and data dictionary curation.
•\tExperience Shell scripting and Informatica command lines such as PMCMD,INFACMD
•\tExperience in reference data collection, maintenance for reuse
