Software Development Manager – UI/UX Development  

Seeking a Software Development Manager to lead a dynamic team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) solutions. This role will oversee the end-to-end UI/UX development process for a range of cutting-edge technologies and tools including React, Flutter, Oracle Jet (OJET), and OCI's proprietary MAUI framework. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and mentoring skills to guide a team of talented developers and shape the future of UI/UX innovation.  

Scope of Position, Management Skills, and Business Impact  
- Lead a small, focused team working on critical features within OCI services.  
- Drive the design, delivery, and operational success of UI/UX components in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.  
- Influence decision-making and strategy within a defined area of impact.  
- Ensure the team’s deliverables meet OCI's high standards for quality, usability, and scalability.  

Activities and Technical Ability 
- Manage day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and organisational goals.  
- Actively participate in roadmap planning, talent reviews, and goal-setting activities.  
- Hands-on recruitment, onboarding, and development of junior and mid-level engineers.  
- Collaborate with senior managers to integrate cross-functional objectives and resolve technical challenges.  
- Expertise in UI/UX frameworks:
 - React: Delivering scalable, component-driven web applications.
 - Flutter: Developing feature-rich mobile applications with cross-platform compatibility.
 - Oracle Jet (OJET): Building enterprise-grade dashboards and analytics applications.  
 - MAUI: Designing metadata API-driven user interfaces for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Cloud services.  
- Figma for crafting UX user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.

- Make visible contributions and decisions impacting the team and influencing the Director level.  
- Primarily collaborate within the UI/UX group, with occasional interactions across other teams.  
- Ensure high-quality work output, aligning with the broader success of Oracle services.

Minimum Qualifications  
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.  
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience as a people manager, with extensive prior hands-on development experience in the capacity of an Individual Contributor in UI/UX work.  
- Strong understanding of front-end architecture and development best practices.  
- Proven ability to lead a technical team in a collaborative and dynamic environment.  

Preferred Qualifications  
- Deep familiarity with Agile development methodologies.  
- Experience with designing and deploying UI for cloud-based applications.  
- Ability to analyze and optimize UI/UX performance for scalability and efficiency.
