Job Duties: Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. Apply knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.31179)

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.

Position requires:

1. Delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems;

2. Designing, developing, and building software systems;

3. Object-oriented software engineering methodologies and effective unit testing;

4. Java programming language;

5. Software development in Linux or Unix environment;

6. Scripting languages including Python or Perl or any other scripting languages; and

7. Data structures and algorithms.
