Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.20161)

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires:

Java Network communication: using technologies for both synchronous and asynchronous modes of HTTP and HTTP/2 communication; Technical skills such as Spring framework, Quartz Scheduler, Hibernate framework, Oracle Database, Tomcat Server, or Heap Dump Analysis; Using JMS API to design messaging-oriented middleware (MOM) and plug into cloud operations monitoring and control tools; Application middleware development using server-side Java in context of relational databases; Object oriented programming, unit testing, debugging and code organization skills; Java's executor framework and locking patterns for highly concurrent programs; Programming the cache including design of eviction algorithms, and distributed caches; Using Freemarker template to design configuration template files; Database Transaction Management; and SMTP messaging services.
