Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.29833)

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.

Position requires:

1. Java programming;

2. RESTful web services development, deployment, and testing using cloud computing services;

3. Agile software development with object-oriented programming and design patterns;

4. Relational databases and SQL;

5. Big Data and ETL technologies

6. CI/CD and development best practices, including automation and testing
