This is a ‘Senior Member of Technical Staff’ position within the 'Database test & tools development' group. We are responsible for developing software test plans, automation, applying and maintaining quality standards for Cloud and on-premise database releases for various platforms, with adherence to both internal and external standards. Test development requires good understanding of Python, Perl,Shell,Unix/Linux internals, storage technologies, security, DBA activities. And these tests on farm depict typical customer or cloud environments.

The candidate will be a member of a team that consists of automation experts, with a strong track record of consistently delivering high quality results.

Education & Experience

   Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.         Should be from reputed colleges/universities.        4+years of experience in QA methodologies and test automation.

Technical skills

   Expertise in Python, Perl, Shell scripting.        Exposure working in framework design or enterprise level product or tools development.        Good understanding of Oracle Database and RDBMS concepts.            Good understanding of Linux/Unix. Exposure on one or more Unix/Linux porting technology is desirable.          Good understanding in testing/QA methodologies (functional,system,performance) and test automation.

Soft Skills

   Should enjoy product test development, observant and curious.               An attitude to automate repeating tasks and work discipline.         Passionate for the work and flexible to switch between projects.
