Position requires:

1. Design and implementation of database management systems;

2. SQL Processing and distributed SQL Processing;

3. Distributed Systems and Distributed Databases;

4. Design, implement, and debug large programming projects;

5. Competency in the C programming language;

6. Linux Operating System; and

7. Database performance evaluation and optimization.
