Ericsson is seeking a dynamic and talented Software Delivery Manager (SW DM) to join its team. This is a pivotal role that is responsible for the successful management of our software deliveries from the Service Delivery Software Development unit, involved in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from Pre-sales to Post Go Live. The SW DM will maintain a clear focus on managing the crucial constraints of time, cost, quality, scope, and risk. In addition, this role will support our dedicated workforce to improve efficiency through appropriate delivery tools, processes, and established measurements. As the Software Delivery Manager, you will be expected to establish a project plan, drive project execution, oversee customer and stakeholder engagement, manage project finances, and reinforce delivery excellence.
What you will do:- Oversee the software delivery process from the Service Delivery Software Development unit, ensuring a comprehensive approach toward the SDLC.
- Establish a baseline for the project plan, making sure to understand stakeholder expectations, contractual obligations, and budgetary requirements.
- Facilitate excellent project execution by monitoring milestones, managing alterations, facilitating risk management, and implementing organizational processes.
- Actively handle customer and stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear communication of project progress, while resolving any arising conflicts.
- Be responsible for project finances, ensuring an updated project structure in the financial system, monitoring costs accurately, and driving project margin improvements.
- Promote delivery excellence by adhering to responsible business practices and ensuring compliance with product security, while simplifying processes, methods, and tools when feasible.
