Site Support Specialist
The IT Site Support Specialist role is responsible for providing day-to-day advanced IT technical support for Danaher Corporate associates & contingent workers, both remote and onsite. Resolving complex incidents, supporting hardware and software across multiple platforms, and ensuring high-quality service delivery in line with ITIL best practices with a focus on process improvements and knowledge management. Works with other IT teams to enhance the overall associate experience and satisfaction while adhering to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Strong technical, organizational, and management skills are necessary as the role primarily focuses on supporting executive-level customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Provide advanced IT technical support to corporate users in the Washington, D.C office. + Support PC software and hardware, remote access tools, mobile devices, and other IT elements. + Act as the local IT representative, building strong relationships with business units, department leads, and key users. + Gather feedback on IT services and promote the adoption of global standards and digital tools. + Communicate service changes, outages, and project updates to local stakeholders. + Support the implementation of IT projects and infrastructure at the site level. + Support change management procedures, including local testing and communications. + Ensure clear and effective communication within the support team and with other stakeholders, collaborating with other IT functions and departments to ensure seamless IT service delivery and support. + Develop and implement processes to address technological diversity. + Maximize cross-team potential by leading initiatives contributing to strategic objectives and directions. + Adhere to IT Service Management ITIL best practices, including knowledge, request, and incident management. + Regularly interface with the Global Service Desk and collaborate with peers across other sites worldwide to share experiences, support one another, and promote knowledge exchange. + Manage associate / contingent worker onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware procurement and software licensing. Essential Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration or a related field. + Proven experience in IT service management, with a focus on helpdesk/service desk operations. + In-depth knowledge of ITIL and other industry best practices for IT service management. + In-depth knowledge of MS Windows and MacOS systems + Hands-on experience with MS 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Office applications, and ITSM platforms (eg, ServiceNow, Cherwell) + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. + Prior experience supporting executive-level customers is a plus. The salary range for this role is 88,900.00 - 155,500.00 USD Annual. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
