Job Duties: Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems. Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning. May telecommute. (385.20822)

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a database administrator or site reliability developer-related occupation. Position requires:

Scripting: SQL commands, PLSQL, and system packages, Python and Shell; Administration, management, and troubleshooting Linux platforms RHEL and OEL; Data storage, sub system, IO, disk and performance tuning; Implementation and troubleshooting of Oracle Database technology including RAC, Dataguard, ASM, and RMAN; Database and Applications Performance Tuning; Data storage sub systems, I/O and Disk; and Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database systems and troubleshooting problems related to databases and applications.
