EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS 
Currently enrolled in a U.S.-based accredited university pursuing an M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, or a related quantitative field

Hands-on lab experience with optical testing, fiber-to-chip coupling, and design verification Programming skills in Python or C/C++ Familiarity with optics simulation tools such as Lumerical

Preferred Skills:

Experience in photonic integrated circuit (PIC) design, layout, and modeling Understanding of coherent optics or optical communication systems Experience with high-frequency/RF photonics modeling Familiarity with RF test equipment (e.g., VNAs, spectrum analyzers, AWGs) Characterize active and passive photonic devices and integrated circuits Support test development and analyze measurement data to validate design performance Develop and optimize test approaches for both wafer-level and system-level photonic components Collaborate cross-functionally with design, modeling, and systems teams to co-develop photonic solutions
