Pay Rate: £44,990 + Any Shift Premium + Any Overtime

Shift times: 0545 - 1815 and 1745 - 0615

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Shift Engineer to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

\n

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

\n\nEnsure all items of plant operate effeciently and safely through proactive and reactive maintenance\nProvide support and engineering expertise to the site operation through implementation of proactive planned preventative maintenance\nCarry out all engineering disciplines using best Health and Safety and engineering practices\nAll plant is maintained in accordance with the approved maintenance schedules and training provided\nProvide a flexible approach and service to the operation to ensure that the sites targets are achieved. Provide support to second fixers where required\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nA minimum of City and Guilds or BTEC ONC in Mechanical / NVQ level 3 Mechanical Engineering\nPrevious engineering experience\nOperationally be able to prioritise workload and tasks to maximise efficient operations\nWork in a pressurised environment ensuring all targets are constantly being monitored in order to be achieved\nAdapt to an everchanging environment and have a dynamic approach to process change\n\n
