Job Title: Services Architecture Expert
Location: Newtown Square, PA

Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Services Architecture Expert at our Newtown Square, PA location to serve as customer advisor on acquiring and implementing SAP solutions, including on-premises, private or public or SAP cloud, hybrid, or partner-solutions options.
Expectations and Tasks:
Assess the as-is situation as well as the business goals of the customer and provide a structured path towards an integrated IT-Landscape as well as the relevant operational approach required for the implementation. Operationalize the customers’ business strategies, identify components, approaches, and input, to derive the best possible solution. Challenge existing solutions, approaches, concepts, to generate a state-of-the-art and future-ready outcome. Implement agility in solution design. Drive knowledge management and innovation activities based on customer experiences. Document successful approaches and tools and make them available at SAP internally. Collaborate and co-innovate with the respective development teams. Explain and use various Architectural patterns, including micro-service-based architecture, reactive architecture, and cloud native. Support sales deals by articulating deployment scope, design, roadmap, and estimates. Design a to-be architecture for optimal outcome that supports the realization of expected business outcomes. Define the strategic, conceptual, and organizational scope for the design of the SAP-centric IT landscape. Prevent escalations through proactive leadership of the customer and the deployment of an appropriate project and program governance. Troubleshoot success-critical customer issues related to SAP, independent of their nature. Advise and mentor diverse teams, including customer, partner, and SAP resources.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study and seven years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study and five years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve five years in the following:
SAP Master Data Governance Application;
Data and Technical Architecture;
SAP Application and Solution Architecture;
SAP S/4HANA;
Business Process Design;
SAP Enterprise Architecture and Roadmap;
Data Migration; and
Cloud Architecture.
Travel: Position requires up to 85% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated client sites.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,611 - $206,640. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $151,900 - $258,300. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
