Summary of the role:

As a Service Reliability Engineer/DevOps at Amadeus, you'll leverage your diverse skill set to:

Accelerate our software development team’s productivity by creating standardized automation for controlling, building, artificing, and deploying managed services.Ensure the reliable and consistent delivery of applications, enhancing our ability to meet and exceed customer expectations.Drive the evolution of Amadeus' managed services, maintaining high stability and agility in our operations.

In this role you’ll:Identify areas for improvement in the developer experience through research and user feedback.Design and implement solutions to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance developer productivity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering leadership, product managers, platform teams) to ensure successful project execution.Stay up to date on the latest engineering trends and technologies and proactively identify opportunities for adoption.Document processes and best practices to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain consistency.

About the Ideal Candidate:Experience in DevOps with a software development background (Python, C++, Go, Github/Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence).Hands-on experience with Oracle Databases and willingness to increase expertise.Cloud experience (preferably in Azure and Google Cloud).Experience working with monitoring and logging systems, particularly Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.Familiar with Linux/Unix-based environments.Effective analysis, debugging, root-cause identification, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a matrix environment.Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
