Senior Trade Category Manager
**Job Summary:** Developing trade marketing strategies involves creating and executing plans aligned with the brand to enhance product visibility and drive sales in retail and distribution channels. This includes conducting market analysis and consumer insights to optimize promotional efforts, providing regular reports to senior management, and collaborating with trade teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives. Additionally, managing in-store campaigns, trade promotions, and merchandising strategies, while building strong relationships with distributors and key stakeholders, ensures smooth execution of strategies. Performance monitoring through KPIs and budget management is crucial for efficient spend and ROI, alongside ensuring all marketing efforts comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations and ethical standards. **Responsibilities:** + Developing Trade Marketing Strategies: Creating and executing trade marketing plans in line with the brand plan to enhance product visibility and drive sales in retail and distribution channels. + Market Analysis & Consumer Insights: Conducting research on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to optimize promotional efforts. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on category performance, market trends, and key opportunities. + Sales Collaboration: Working closely with the trade teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and ensure effective execution to maximize sales and profitability. + Trade Promotions & Campaigns: Managing in-store marketing campaigns, trade promotions, and merchandising strategies to boost product presence. + Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with distributors, healthcare professionals, and key industry stakeholders. Act as a liaison between the trade and other departments (sales, marketing, supply chain) to ensure smooth execution of strategies. + Performance Monitoring: Tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of trade marketing activities using key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage and track budgets for trade activities and promotions to ensure efficient spend and ROI. + Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all marketing efforts adhere to pharmaceutical industry regulations and ethical standards. **Education, Experience, and Knowledge:** + Master's degree (preferred) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. + 8-10 years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or sales within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry. + Proven track record of successful trade marketing campaigns and promotional strategies. + Experience in market analysis and consumer insights. + Strong understanding of trade marketing principles and strategies. + Proficiency in market research and data analysis. + Knowledge of sales collaboration and stakeholder engagement. + Familiarity with in-store marketing campaigns, trade promotions, and merchandising strategies. + Ability to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs). + Understanding of budget management and ROI analysis. + Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and ethical standards.
