Role Overview:
As a Senior Technical Program Manager in Commercial Solutions at Mastercard, you’ll partner with engineers to build world-class microservices and web applications. We’re building a global business-to-business (B2B) technology platform to help businesses of all sizes streamline how they manage payments when buying or selling products and services.
You will work in our Mastercard technology location in Pune, India, which provides a state-of-the-art environment for technology teams to thrive in our collaborative, Agile engineering culture. You will play a key role in how Mastercard transforms the B2B space to standardize, automate, and optimize digital payment efficiency for buyers and sellers.
The role will require you to:
•Enable the team to self-organize and help enforce accountability of the team, the agreement, best practices, and processes
•Identify and manage dependencies as well as remove obstacles to ensure on time, quality implementations
•Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
•Provide clear, concise documentation to ensure status, action items, issues, and risks are understood across all parties
· Demonstrated ability to operate independently and across multiple teams
· Demonstrated experience breaking down problems, planning sprints and delivering projects in agile framework models (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
. Demonstrated experience in coaching teams on Agile Best Practices
· Experience building cloud-native software products with a deep understanding of Business, Platforms capabilities and underlying technologies.
· Proven data driven decision-making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams
· Lead project strategic discussions with Stakeholders and communicate with impact, eloquence and authenticity.
· Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing dependent teams while commanding the respect of the individuals you work with across the organisation
Required Experience:
•\tBachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Computer Science or comparable field
•\tKnowledge and demonstrated experience in the areas of planning and project management
•\tLooking for up to 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management
•\tSome previous experience working on a large scale, multiple scrum team projects
•\tExperience with agile project management methodology preferred
•\tAdvanced communication skills required, including writing, listening and verbal
•\tStrong leadership with a solid track record for building and maintaining strong relationships
•\tProficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Jira and Rally Tools
Nice To Have:
•\tExperience working within the commercial card space or corporate banking
•\tAbility to identify points of failure and formulate error-handling approaches for product resiliency
•\tAbility to identify, assess, and manage tradeoffs
•\tStrong ability to multi-task, organize, manage, and implement complex projects whether directly or through supervision
