This role is required to complete the overall technical design and build of the large, complex elements of the solution to meet a client’s business requirements. **What you'll be doing** **Key Responsibilities:** Responsible for solution design, business development and transition of projects from presales to delivery as well as ongoing sales support. Selects and applies appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with the agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensure that these are effectively applied and adopted. Guides successful implementation and execution of system solutions. Contributes to the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas. Designs components using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed architectures, design standards, patterns and methodology. Develops the technical design documents to match the solution design specifications. Leads the scope of work determination, product pricing and RFP/RFI responses and assist with the decision to pursue or abort a deal. Manages client proof of concept (POC) initiatives, which require appropriation of appropriate resources, and setup and delivery of the POC. Provides coaching and mentorship to junior Technical Architects and engineers **Knowledge and Attributes:** Advanced understanding of the vendor’s products, business and technology positioning. Ability to develop and leverage their advanced knowledge of reference architectures. Ability to continuously maintain knowledge of trends and development in technology domains. Advanced knowledge in core frameworks. Advanced understanding of key vendor subscription models **Academic Qualifications and Certifications:** Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or information systems or a related field. Master’s degree in IT related programme will be an added advantage Microsoft Certified Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert - Messaging & Collaboration - Microsoft Azure & AWS Architect Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - Office365 - Windows server Certified - Microsoft Configuration Manager Microsoft Exchange - ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service management - Veeam Sales Professional(VMSP) - DELL EMC (Converged infrastructure Credential) - VMWare would also be an added advantage. Microsoft Dynamics SAP **Required Experience:** Advanced client engagement and development consulting experience. Advanced design and development know-how. Advanced project management experience ensuring timeous delivery of client solutions. Advanced experience presenting technical solutions to non-technical audiences. Advanced experience working in an agile development environment.
