The Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for strategic commodity management through supplier relationships, supplier risk mitigation, operating margin expansion, and driving optimal total cost of ownership. They will be responsible for creating relationship strategies, resourcing suppliers to optimize our supply base and reduce material cost by implementing negotiation strategies while ensuring product availability supporting multiple stakeholders. This position is part of the Strategic Procurement located in Miami, FL and will be on-site with hybrid option. You will be a part of the Strategic Procurement team and report to the Manager, Strategic Procurement responsible for leading the Strategic Procurement for multiple commodities, primarily Metals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Lead supply chain initiatives in a manufacturing operations environment and all aspects of supplier selection and business transitions with overall project management for your assigned commodities. + Develop commodity strategies for the organization and negotiate contracts/agreements with those suppliers. + Partner with assigned suppliers, conducting regular business reviews with those having a high impact on the company. + Analyze and supervise corrective actions when supplier performance fails to meet expectations and address supplier performance or relationship issues that are raised by our manufacturing sites. + Lead requests for supplier pricing or information (RFP/RFI). The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience, or Doctoral degree with 0+ years’ experience + 2+ years’ experience in a procurement, strategic sourcing, or a commodity management capacity in a manufacturing environment + Strong business acumen and ability to build strong business cases to support sourcing decisions. + Demonstrated negotiation skills and demonstrated use of continuous improvement tools to identify cost savings opportunities + Experience working with ERP systems OR Power BI It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Complex commodity procurement and strategic relationship management within a highly regulated industry + FDA regulated experience + Global procurement experience + Metals Procurement experience The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is 85,000 to 110,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
