**Position Overview:**
**The Health Economics & Reimbursement Senior Specialist, Structural Heart EMEA** provides operational support to the EMEA Health Economics & Reimbursement Director in developing strategy and executing activities to secure market access for Abbott Structural Heart products. This role works closely with country-level Health Economics & Reimbursement team members and engages cross-functionally at the EMEA and global levels.
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
+ Contribute to the development and implementation of EMEA reimbursement strategies and economic value plans for marketed Structural Heart products and those in clinical development. Support the creation of Global Market Access Plans for EMEA.
+ Develop and implement value-focused economic and reimbursement deliverables, including health economic studies, EMEA Value dossiers, budget impact analyses, and reimbursement information. Ensure internal quality approvals for EMEA Structural Heart deliverables.
+ Manage relationships with Health Economics & Reimbursement vendors and consultants linked to relevant projects.
+ Develop internal information on key health policy and macroeconomic changes, such as value-based purchasing, comparative effectiveness, and health technology assessment.
+ Contribute to the development and delivery of health care economic and reimbursement education programs for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Provide in-depth understanding of coverage, coding, and payment models for Abbott Structural Heart therapies across major EMEA markets. Support customers seeking reimbursement.
+ Participate in cross-departmental meetings and conference calls to provide input on economic evidence, quality of life/patient-reported outcomes, value messaging, and reimbursement.
+ Present health economic and reimbursement issues to diverse audiences, including Abbott colleagues, physicians, and service line administrators.
+ Adhere to regulations applicable to the healthcare industry, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
+ Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
+ Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Your Profile:**
+ University degree in Medicine, Economics, or Social Sciences preferred.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry.
+ Strong business acumen to connect with local/regional business leaders and develop Health Economics & Reimbursement solutions to support the business.
+ Both strategic thinking and proactive, tactical execution with a drive for results.
+ Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels in the organization.
+ Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and Excel Pivot tables.
+ Project management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
+ Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
