Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.
Overview
Mastercard’s Services team is responsible for safeguarding trust in payments, both now and in the future. We ensure that transactions and interactions are safe, simple and smart. The Card & Payment Ecosystem Security organization within Services is responsible for developing and managing cybersecurity solutions that help build trust in the Mastercard ecosystem while increasing Mastercard’s posture as a leader in the cybersecurity industry. Mastercard is using global threat intelligence to secure today’s digital economy – in the payment ecosystem and beyond.
As Senior Specialist Product Management, Threat Intelligence, you will lead the full product lifecycle of our cybersecurity solutions - guiding them from concept to launch. You will help shape the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and drive innovation, sparking new ideas, and bringing solutions to market that safeguard the payment ecosystem.
This role requires a curious, thoughtful, and analytical person with drive and passion for payments, fraud, and customer experience:
Role
• Take part in the rapid evolution of our products, ensuring they deliver measurable value to customers
• Use a data driven approach to identify trends and inform product enhancements, roadmap prioritization, and decision-making
• Collaborate with engineering to remove barriers in the software development lifecycle and deliver capabilities on time and budget
• Leverage data and analytics to quickly diagnose product performance challenges and propose actionable improvements.
• Build strong relationships with UX, engineering, data science, go-to-market teams, customers, and partners to gather insights and align on strategy.
• Support the evaluation, pilot and launch of new capabilities for your products
• Continuously monitor the competitive landscape to differentiate features and maintain market leadership.
• Incorporate regulatory, legal, and ecosystem-wide considerations (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive, technology environment etc.) into product strategies.
• Investigate new fraud and scam tactics using operational intelligence to proactively adjust product direction.
All About You
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and cyber threat landscapes with an ability to translate technical details into actionable product strategy.
• Product Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in product management preferably in cybersecurity, fraud prevention, or SaaS-based threat intelligence solutions. Skilled in agile methodologies, backlog prioritization, and driving cross-functional team collaboration.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to synthesize customer feedback, market research, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and shape product roadmaps.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.• Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude for identifying problems, developing solutions, and implementing them efficiently.
• Customer Focus: Passionate about solving real-world security problems and improving user outcomes.
• Project Management Skills: Capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering on time.
• Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest cybersecurity developments and continuously improving skills and knowledge.
