About the Travel Ready Team

The Travel Ready product is at the heart of our mission to transform the traveler’s experience in airports across the world. Developed by our Mobile & Digital Identity Engineering group, the product enables a seamless identity journey, connecting passengers, airlines, airports, and border control systems via a secure and privacy-first Digital ID platform.

As a Senior Android Developer, you will:

Design and build advanced applications and SDKs for the Android platform;Lead and contribute to architecture and design discussions;Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to define, design, and ship new features;Drive technical excellence through code reviews, testing strategies, mentoring and documentation;Advocate for and implement modern design patterns and best practices;Take initiative on performance optimization, improve documentation quality;Ensure secure, scalable, and high-quality code delivery;Support product discovery and early prototyping with UX and Product teams.

About You

Mandatory Requirements

At least 3yrs experience designing and developing native Android (Kotlin);Strong and clear understanding of Android App’s lifecycle, development tools;Strong knowledge of Android SDK, performance tools and optimization techniques.Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and asynchronous programming;Experience working with secure storage solutions such as EncryptedSharedPreferences and implementing data encryption;Creative thinking, analytical skills, with attention to detail;Team-player that is positive, proactive and a motivated self-starter.Fluent in English.

Desirable

You care deeply about the craft of software development and stay on top of emerging technologies and best practices;Experience with SDK development, ML Kit, Push notifications.Continuous Integration/Deployment tools and processes;Experience in Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA & Confluence);Experience with version control tools like Gitlab, Git.
