Senior Software Development Engineer

Summary

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer who can join one of our Development teams. In this role, you´ll develop new technologies that will shape our customers’ travel experience.

Key responsibilities:

Develop solutions, with maintainability, scalability, and performance in mind;Work with quality engineers to design and create load and stress tests;Work with the DevOps team to automate the deployment and integration of the software into the platform environment;Teamwork as second nature: strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills;Contribute to the software design sessions;Ensure code quality, perform code reviews, writing unit and integration tests;Use Git and GitLab for building Continuous Integration pipelines;Create/improve/update documentation of the developed features/solutions;Provide support to any issues or questions about the product.

About the Ideal Candidate:

Development experience using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, .NET framework, .NET, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, SignalR, Dapper, Swagger/OpenApi;Knowledge on how to create Unit and Integration testing;Knowledge about the best practices for SQL and NOSQL databases;Knowledge on webservices authentication\ authorization using IdP;Knowledge of security protocols, communication protocols and networks;Experience using containers;Experience on designing and developing for cloud (plus)Knowledge of design patterns and development following the SOLID principles;Asynchronous programming;Solid knowledge about distributed systems, resiliency and scalability patterns;Experience with Message Queuing using Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP);Experience working in an Agile/Scrum;Fluent in written and verbal English.
