CACI is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage projects within the Global Operations Center (GOC) Support division, directly supporting the J3 and commander of USSTRATCOM. This role requires strategic leadership, expert project management skills, and an in-depth understanding of defense operations and engineering principles. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities:
Manages the mission system services, including lifecycle management, engineering, integration, and sustainment of required systems and ensured connectivity
Manages a specific project or projects assigned by either the PM, Business Operations Lead, or the Government, including project requirements, scope, budget, schedule, and performance
Monitors, adjusts, and reports on the project’s performance, budget, and schedule
Provides interim progress reviews to the Government on an as-needed basis
Assists with proposing, implementing, and enforcing Government policies, standards, and methodologies and is responsible for either developing or supervising the preparation of studies, reports, and acquisition documents
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
Plans and leads major technology assignments
Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
Manages and mentors mid-level project managers
Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) as required by mission needs
Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives. Depending on experience and team structure, this role may involve working under direct supervision or potentially providing guidance, training, or supervision to others
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on engineering within a defense or military context
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects, preferably within the US Department of Defense or related agencies
Required 8140 Cert: 802 - Intermediate; Approved DoD 8140 cyber-related certification; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
Clearance Required Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

The proposed salary range for this position is:
