The Oracle Health Data Intelligence Platform seeks a dynamic, seasoned Product Content Designer to architect population health algorithms that measurably enhance patient care for millions of platform users. Leveraging your in-depth understanding of the healthcare landscape, industry best practices, and regulatory mandates, you will develop algorithms pivotal to both patient well-being and our clients' business objectives. Moreover, your role involves ensuring seamless alignment of our work with the platform's industry-leading data model and terminology frameworks.
Responsibilities
Requirement Elicitation and Documentation: Collaborate with Consulting and Product Management to accurately identify, define, and document comprehensive business and system requirements. Solution Design and Prioritization: Partner with stakeholders to pinpoint areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions. Create detailed specifications for clinical algorithms tailored to our clients' value-based care initiatives. Develop and prioritize user stories in conjunction with Consulting and Product Management. Scope Definition and Acceptance Criteria: Clearly outline the scope and acceptance criteria for each user story or feature to foster development team comprehension. Collaboration and Validation: Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that implemented changes meet expectations. Contribute to the design of automation and tooling to streamline the algorithm development process. Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate efforts across multiple internal teams and knowledge domains to optimize clinical algorithm performance. Subject Matter Expertise and Mentorship: Serve as a recognized subject matter expert, mentoring less experienced team members. Represent the team in customer interactions as a subject matter authority on algorithm design and terminology value sets. Process Understanding: Gain a comprehensive grasp of end-to-end customer workflows, desired outcomes, KPIs, and the impact of requirements on regulatory, business, and patient care needs.Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or a comparable role. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or higher, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong understanding of the US healthcare industry, with a preference for experience in Population Health Management and Clinical Quality Measures. Exposure to healthcare interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR is advantageous. In-depth knowledge of healthcare processes, regulations, and standards. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Proficiency in Agile tools and methodologies (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent presentation and written communication skills. Experience working with diverse healthcare data sources, including EHR, billing, lab, eligibility, or claims. Knowledge of FHIR, QDM, or other healthcare data modelling standards. Familiarity with healthcare industry quality measurement methodologies. Working knowledge of industry standard terminologies such as SNOMED CT, ICD, and CPT. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The ability to navigate complex specifications and design algorithms that align with business or clinical objectives while considering the constraints of real-world clinical and administrative healthcare data. Capacity to create clinical scenarios for algorithm testing by the engineering team.Career Level - IC3
