Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific (AUNZSP) is Visa's advisory division, working with Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants) on a broad range of key business initiatives including strategy, proposition development, loyalty, operational optimisation, customer engagement and overall business profitability.
VCA is made up of three services lines - Advisory, Data Science and Managed Services, the latter being the execution arm of VCA. Our Managed Services teams (also known as squads) are embedded on client sites leading long-term engagements and delivering value primarily through implementation and execution services. We deliver objectives from a shared value agenda but are also closely connected to the broader VCA team, sharing knowledge, and bringing the best of Visa to the client.
We are looking for a dedicated Product Manager to join the client's team for a fixed-term contract. This role will be embedded with a key strategic client's Retail Banking team and will be part of a Tech Squad to execute on an exciting credit card product. You will be responsible for planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining robust and secure applications. Your role will involve working across the full lifecycle of software development, from roadmap creation to production. Additionally, you will set the vision and roadmap for the product group, identify market/customer needs, and drive the flow of work in the product group.

Strategic Roadmap & Delivery: Contribute to the team’s strategic roadmap and lead the end-to-end delivery of key initiatives. Collaborate across teams to manage interdependencies and ensure seamless execution.Growth & Product Strategy: Shape and execute strategies that drive product growth, customer acquisition, and engagement. Leverage insights to identify new opportunities, optimise existing offerings, and align product development with business goals.Market Research & Analytics: Conduct in-depth market research to uncover trends, customer pain points, regulatory shifts, and competitive insights—fueling innovation and strategic decision-making.Customer Experience Enhancement: Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance the customer experience—refining product features, benefits, and digital journeys based on insights and feedback.Risk Management: Take a proactive approach to risk by performing regular controls, identifying and escalating issues early, and driving timely resolution and remediation efforts.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all processes are fully compliant with relevant regulatory and policy requirements, maintaining a strong and trusted environment.Performance Monitoring & Insights: Analyse product performance, KPIs, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth. Share insights to inform strategic priorities and planning.Leadership & Influence: Act as a senior leader within the team, setting direction, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and driving alignment across business, technology, and operations.Portfolio & Prioritisation Management: Balance short-term delivery with long-term strategic bets. Own the product backlog, prioritising initiatives based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.Change Management & Go-to-Market: Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new features and experiences. QualificationsBachelor's Degree5+ years related work experience in relevant role in the financial services industryA strategic mindset with a bias for action—able to turn ideas into impactful outcomes.Proficiency in gathering requirements and managing product backlogs.Experience working with User Stories and Product Backlog Management.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and engage diverse stakeholders.Experience in product management, including setting vision and roadmap, and driving product development lifecycle.Strong collaboration and influencing skills—comfortable working across teams and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.Analytical thinker who uses data and insights to drive decisions and continuous improvement.A proactive approach to risk—able to identify, assess, and act on current and emerging risks.Ability to conduct market analysis and validate product concepts with customers.Strong stakeholder management and ability to lead cross-functional teams.Additional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
