CACI is seeking a highly skilled Budget Operations & Support Analyst for our Clearance Sponsorship program.  Once cleared, the eligible candidate can prepare and analyze budgetary activities, provide financial guidance, and support management in making strategic budget decisions.

Responsibilities:

Review and prepare vouchers for certification and verification of program fundingMonitor budget execution, spending rates, and status of obligationsProvide advice and guidance on resource plan development and implementationAnalyze budgetary reports and offer recommendations for strategic decision-makingMonitor financial activities and funding transfers within the area of responsibilityInterpret and apply finance policies and sponsor authoritiesAssist in developing specific budget policies and proceduresMaintain data integrity in budgetary databases and systemsAdhere to the federal government and specific standards for budget record-keepingAssist in the budget formulation process and resource displaysProvide technical guidance on budget policy and proceduresCompile and analyze budget execution reports for senior managementFunctions may be modified based on the designated office requirements

Qualifications:

Required: 

Must successfully obtain a TS/SCI with Poly clearanceBachelor's degree (Business Administration or related field preferred)Two years of progressively responsible professional experience in financial analysis, contract management, financial operations, and/or program/project managementStrong understanding of budget execution responsibilitiesConsiderable knowledge of business resource planning and budgeting practicesAnalytical ability to research and identify budget-related issuesKnowledge of Federal appropriations lawProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially ExcelExcellent communication skills, able to explain budget topics to various stakeholdersStrong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Desired: 

Experience with Federal government budgeting processesKnowledge of automated financial systemsAbility to interpret and apply complex financial regulationsStrong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and managers at all levelsExcellent time management and prioritization skills

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
