**About the Role** We are seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to improve the performance and reliability of web, mobile, and API platforms. You will design and automate performance tests in CI/CD pipelines, analyze bottlenecks using New Relic, AWS Logs, and X-Ray, and create observability dashboards for real-time insights. This role also involves innovations and collaborating with teams to optimize system performance and user experience across cloud and microservices environments. **Key Responsibilities:** * Collaborates with product and technical teams to analyze, design, and translate non-functional requirements. * Experience conducting performance testing to ensure system capacity, reliability, and scalability * Hands-on experience analyzing reports and documenting observations to identify bottlenecks * Investigates & reports project issues by communicating & working with various departments including Development, Product, Project Management, Systems & Application support groups, Network Engineering, etc., as well as other project teams * Using workload information and performance results to identify and understand performance bottlenecks and provide tuning recommendations * Analyzes slowdowns in frontend and backend, identifies root causes, and collaborates with teams for optimization. * Extensive experience with JMeter, LoadRunner and other tools to test system reliability. * Extensive experience with New Relic, AWS X-Ray, and logs to track system behavior and find issues early. * Builds observability dashboards using LGTM and implements distributed tracing and instrumentation. * Contribute actively to Performance Engineering CoE, Continues Improvement, Innovations, and Research * Collaborates with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure performance goals are met. * Proven ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with all stakeholders **Preferred Skills:** * Experience with AWS cloud platforms and technologies. * Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, Sitespeed.io, NewRelic , AWS CloudWatch. * Exposure with, Xray, GitHub, Grafana, etc., * Knowledge of frontend testing and optimization principles * Knowledge of chaos engineering principles and practices. * Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. * Ability to work with Java, Python, or similar language **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field. * 7+ years of experience in performance engineering * Strong experience of performance testing & engineering tools and methodologies. * Experience with performance profiling, monitoring, and tuning of complex systems. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. **Why Join Us?** * Work in a cutting-edge technology environment with a talented and passionate team. * Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement. * Comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary. * Be part of a company that values diversity, inclusion, and innovation.
