Job Description
Compute Data Plane is responsible for designing and developing core functions for Virtual Machine Infrastructure (VMI), Disaster Recovery Systems, OS Images and Agents. The fundamental architectural components include for VM delivery for CPU and GPU workloads, OS images for Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, Debian and Windows, Oracle Cloud Agent that provides manageability of all hosts, Automated recovery automation for any region during any unforeseen outages, health monitoring, triage automation, and diagnostic services. All these services are essential for our customers to run distributed application workloads across thousands of VMs, leveraging technologies latest virtualization technologies.
 

OCI is looking for a hands-on lead systems engineer within the Compute Data plane team in Compute Org. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of building a cutting-edge orchestration building automated recovery systems, developing ultra-high-performance VMI platform designed to support millions of VMs running on thousands of Hypervisors supporting hundreds of customer workloads.
 

This high-visibility and high-impact role will help shape our future infrastructure business and enable growth. The role comes with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy and will require effective engagement across all cross-organizational functions to deliver results.
