As a member of the Oracle Analytics Cloud engineering team, participate in software development and delivery lifecycle of the Analytics service ranging from architecture, design, development, lifecycle management and deployment of Oracle Analytics on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. We are looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in all areas of software engineering: distributed systems, security, observability, and cloud infrastructure. Job Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level. Balancing work as a lead individual contributor with providing direction and mentoring to others.Minimum Qualifications:
BS/MS in Computer Science or related major Strong written and verbal English communication skills Solid skills in Java software development Knowledge of Linux/System and Shell scripting Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service Hands-on experience of one or more Public Cloud infrastructure (eg. Oracle, AWS, Azure) Devops mindset to address real-time customer issues in production Strong fundamentals and hands on experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. Strong understanding of fundamental distributed system principles.Desirable Qualifications:
Knowledge of cloud networking constructs (VPCs, Nat GW, PC Peering, etc.) Knowledge with the Linux OS and networking stack and tooling Knowledge of CNI's on Kubernetes deployments (e.g. Calico, Cilium, Flannel, etc.)Career Level - IC3
