This resource will work to accelerate the successful design, adoption, and execution of enterprise, brand, franchise, and management company priorities and initiatives for the MSB portfolio to optimize and maximize guest/owner/associate benefit(s). The position will drive the execution and management of core deliverables to help strengthen Management Company / Owner satisfaction and support Marriott International’s Franchise growth strategy. This role will support MSB in the U.S. only. Approximately 10% Travel required **CANDIDATE PROFILE** **Education and Experience** _Required_ • At least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in the lodging industry leading operations disciplines with proven outstanding customer relations skills • Knowledge of KPI tracking, Owner Relations and/or financial responsibilities • Skilled in assessing KPI/performance trends and providing actionable recommendations • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse stakeholders _Preferred_ • 4-year bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related field OR 2-year college degree with 7 years of relevant work experience • Demonstrated strong project management skills and ability to independently manage multiple projects and competing priorities • Exceptional skill in problem solving and leveraging resources to optimize capabilities • Ability to innovate and articulate new concepts clearly and in a compelling way • Requires excellent administrative and organizational skills • Multi-brand experience in a highly matrix organization • Experience in Operations, Select Brands, Franchising, Reporting & Analysis, or Project Management **CORE WORK ACTIVITIES** • Implement strategies to drive KPIs focused on enhancing the guest satisfaction and driving loyalty. Lead routine collection of KPIs (GSS, Red Zone, etc.) and monitor performance on a monthly and quarterly basis. Assess results and identify recommendations based on assessment of performance. • Collaborate with and educate internal stakeholders (Continent Ops, Global Ops, Brand, Global Design, Technology, Sustainability, etc.) on franchisee needs related to day-to-day business operations. • Manage MSB portfolio-wide rollout efforts including implementation, communication, and market-support plans and contingencies. • Support account portfolio compliance of initiatives, including reporting and follow up with franchisees and account leads. Partners with Franchise Business Operations, Account Executives, Franchise Management Companies on recommendations for action steps to drive accountability. • Establish and maintain organizational mechanisms for high priority deliverables, success metrics, and resources. • Promote organization environment for continuous improvement that reflect Marriott’s priority of ‘owner/franchisee preference’. • Guide and execute key programs/initiatives within the franchise MSB account team • Produce implementations of key initiatives that drives targeted guest/owner/associate benefit across portfolio • Conduct performance impact assessment and benchmark for competitive advantage • Synthesize and manage communication channels to appropriate key stakeholders (i.e. AEs, Brand, Franchisee, GMs, Owners);communications including but not limited to brand product, policies and service standards. • Manage and influence multiple stakeholders in a culturally diverse work environment • Establish a reporting cadence and present to Senior Leaders, demonstrating strong executive presence • Balance implementation of corporate and continent initiatives for the Select Brand portfolio • Foster and maintain successful relationships with internal stakeholders, above-property leaders, general managers, owners and franchisees through openness, trust, and confidence • Share observations with key MI functions on behalf of MSB Account Executive team • Gain alignment with MSB Account Executives on established program/initiative timelines and resources to ensure successful desired deliverables • Conduit for franchisees; synchronize perspectives for key market or MI functions; establish path for resolutions on challenges • Recognizes and shares opportunities to enhance and implement processes, procedures, and leverage innovative technology for team efficiency across all levels within the department • Performs other duties as appropriate The salary range for this position is $98,500 to $144,200 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
