The ICT Business Development team is responsible for ideation, development, and championing of our highest potential organic and inorganic growth opportunities through the Mergers and Acquisition process. The team plays the role of trusted advisors to the ICT executive team and plays a pivotal role in identifying and developing opportunities to achieve our vision on portfolio expansion and growth, through a combination of organic and inorganic efforts.
As the Manager Global Business Development, you will work with diverse and cross-functional teams ensure that Industrial and Commercial Transportation BU (ICT) is executing on our key strategic growth initiatives.
As a key member of the ICT Business Development Team, the Manager of Business Development (BD) will advise BD leadership team on selecting the most attractive acquisition targets to create value (e.g. strengthen product portfolio, go-to-market capabilities, client base, etc.) and champion organizational focus on most attractive opportunities.
The role will engage with external stakeholders (customers, partners, regulators, etc.) and internal stakeholders (sales, product management, engineering, operations, finance, etc.) to identify, conceive, develop, and champion inorganic growth opportunities that expand Total Addressable Markets, Serviceable Addressable Markets, and margins.
Further, the role will help identify new current and future profit-pools through a deep understanding of customers, competitors, partners, and the broader ecosystem.
Desired Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in a business, technical field, Engineering is preferred. 7-10 years professional experience at minimum Experience in organizational change. Proven knowledge in Strategy, Product Management, Program Management, Project Management or Engineering Management Leading global or multi-regional teams in a matrix organizational structure or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a fluency in English Strategic mindset and skills in problem solving, analytics, project management, and communications. Ability to look at Business Development and M&A from a strategic point of view, aligned with broader business and strategic goals. Ability to manage and align internal and external stakeholders. Ability to continuously analyse a broad set of opportunities, manage multiple initiatives in parallel, and focus efforts on key opportunities. Ability to create robust, data-driven business cases and integration plans.
