Job DescriptionVisa’s Business Development team is responsible for selling Visa solutions and services to new clients. As part of the Business Development team Visa´s Fintech team engages with the most innovative players within the payment ecosystem including well established-, as well as emerging, financial institutions. Our team works in close collaboration with Account Executives and other internal stakeholders and teams. This role will report into the Head of Fintech in the Nordic and Baltic region. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly talented team in the fast-paced world of payments.
This role will be responsible for engaging with external stakeholders across the entire cluster to achieve aggressive sales targets and contributing to the continued growth of Visa´s payments solutions. We will be working in global yet fast-paced and agile environment so we are looking for someone who is proactive and comfortable in navigating an international matrix organization.
Ownership of driving new sales within the Fintech landscape across the Nordic & Baltic cluster by leading prospecting and new customer acquisition strategies
End-to-end management of the sales cycle including pipeline management, commercial modelling and negotiations, contracting and onboarding
Leverages internal (e.g., Legal, Finance, Risk and Compliance, Marketing) and external partnerships to bring the best of Visa to clients
Manages new customer relationships (Account Management) until they are ready to be handed over to the relevant Account Executive team
Explores new vertical opportunities where Visa´s services can add value to financial institutions and non-financial institutions together with internal stakeholders and external partners and enablers
Researches customer and market trends to identify potential new clients and opportunities, introduce innovative solutions, and position Visa as a market leader
Development of knowledge of the fintech and payment technology space, and specifically of Visa products and services.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. This is a fixed Term Contract 18 months.
QualificationsThe successful candidate will effectively lead new customer acquisition activities and effectively manage them throughout the entire sales cycle. In doing so, the candidate can work collaboratively across internal Visa functions to build a Visa network, solve complex problems, and serve as the face of Visa to external partners. The ideal candidate will bring passion for and interest in Payments and the Fintech space with client-relationship building skills, executive presence, knowledge of sales strategies and priorities. We are looking for a proactive candidate who is resilient when faced with challenges and has the ability to execute on ambitious goals.
