WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
The Senior Maintenance Engineer reports directly to Maintenance Manager and collaborates with the manufacturing and engineering teams, focusing on technical elimination of losses and waste on the production lines and is involved in continuous technical improvement projects. This role is essential in the Run to Standard approach, as one of the three key roles foreseen by this methodology. Working directly with the line crews daily and Maintenance coordinator to support in phenomena identification, root cause analysis and the establishment of countermeasures and of revised basic conditions on the line.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans and oversees all repair and installation activities by evaluating a preventive or corrective maintenance strategy based on cost/benefit priorities;
Ensures compliance with the Integrated Management System (quality, environment, health and safety at work) procedures and documents related to job responsibilities;
Develops maintenance procedures and ensures program implementation;
Responsible of increasing Safety Improvements into Machinery Safety matters;
Implements UMS (Unilever Manufacturing Standards) on Professional Maintenance. Tackles losses by using UMS Tools (Kaizen, RCA, EWO) based on cost deployment priorities;
Attends daily meetings in line with Run to Standard approach;
Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades;
Collects and analyzes processing performance data for the continuous improvement;
Uses process knowledge to help develop and deliver novel products and processes for new consumer offerings and provide strategic supply chain advantage;
Works on the implementation of digital innovations and projects.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Skills, Experiences & Qualifications:
Educational Background: Engineering Master’s Degree. Preferably in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering;
Experience: Three to five years of previous similar experience;
Languages Skills: Native in Italian, Fluent in English;
Time management Skills: Extremely well-organized, precise and able to multi-task with excellent prioritizing and time-management skills;
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions;
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Able to act as a Team Player;
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
