The position

As a Senior Legal Counsel at Novo Nordisk, you will provide legal guidance on contracting, commercial matters, public procurement proceedings, and promotional practices.

Your responsibilities will be to:

•          Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical and healthcare regulations and industry codes such as AIPM and EFPIA.

•          Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and develop contract templates.

•          Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, collaborating with various departments to address legal and compliance challenges.

•          Contribute to the development and implementation of internal policies, procedures, and legal training programs.

•          Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the business and provide guidance.

 

Qualifications

•          Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a Hungarian university.

•          Bar exam (jogi szakvizsga) is an advantage.

•          A minimum of 5 years of post-bar legal experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience from law firms advising pharmaceutical clients will also be considered.

•          Strong understanding of the regulatory environment in which pharmaceutical companies operate.

•          Proven track record of managing complex legal matters and providing sound advice and legal opinion in a fast-paced environment.

•          Professional level of English (written and spoken) with the ability to draft, negotiate and advise confidently in a multinational environment.

•          Genuine interest in understanding the pharmaceutical sector and its unique dynamics, business insights.

•          Willingness to engage in constructive dialogue, to challenge ideas and be challenged in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

•          Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders at all levels.

•          Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in all aspects of work.
