Purpose of the Role The Senior Program Support Officer - Health will play a crucial role in supporting the operational needs of health programs, ensuring the smooth functioning of health facilities, and maintaining high standards of service delivery. This role involves overseeing logistics, facility maintenance, supply chain management, and supporting field activities. Major Responsibilities Logistics Management: + Oversee the storage, maintenance, and shipment of goods and materials. + Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials. + Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to health facilities. Facility Maintenance: + Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of health facilities. + Oversee the maintenance of utilities such as water supply, electrical systems, and generators. + Manage outsourced service providers for cleaning and technical services. Supply Chain Management: + Liaise with procurement and operations units for material procurement. + Manage inventory of non-medical supplies and ensure accurate record-keeping. + Prepare and submit monthly stock and consumption reports. Field Support Activities: + Provide operational support to field teams and ensure smooth coordination. + Assist in planning and managing the shipment of goods between project sites. + Support emergency preparedness and response activities. Reporting and Documentation: + Prepare and submit regular operational reports to the Program Support Manager. + Ensure all documentation related to logistics, maintenance, and supply chain is up-to-date and accurate. Qualifications Experience (Including sector/industry) + Minimum 3 years of experience in Health facility/Logistic/Operation/Program support management + Experience of working with UN Agencies or Non-Governmental Organizations Language Efficiency + People who have knowledge in Chittagogian language will get preference.
