About this opportunity:
We are now hiring a Senior Group Legal Counsel to join Strategic Sourcing and Projects Legal Affairs, a new unit within Ericsson’s Group Function Legal Affairs (GFLA) which is focused on strengthening contracting with our most critical suppliers across the globe – from semiconductor supply for our leading networks business; to inbound licensing of software for our telecoms software business; to critical internal IT and outsourced services. Good contracts form the backbone of our business and are critical to our continued profitability and success.
Whilst the main focus of this role will be in the supplier contracting space, we encourage active collaboration and you can expect to work closely with highly skilled legal professionals in all other legal teams at Ericsson including, in particular, Products and Technology; IPR; and Global Disputes.
You can also expect to have opportunities to participate in other strategic contracting initiatives across the Ericsson Group and work closely with the GFLA Leadership Team. Over the long term, we actively encourage our lawyers to grow, develop new skills, and pursue their interests by exploring and applying for other roles within GFLA.
Of particular interest are applicants with significant experience of contracting in one or more of the following areas:
- Electronic component and semiconductor supply;
- OEM software licensing (i.e. licensing of third-party software for inclusion in Ericsson software or hardware);
- Complex IT / facility management outsourcing agreements; or
- Other complex technology deals.
