The Position
As a Senior Finance Partner in Chemistry, Manufacturing & Control & Product Supply (CMC&PS) Business Finance, you will take on an important role supporting decision-making across CMC&PS. This position is strategically placed within the organization, enabling you to effectively connect the dots between corporate strategy and financial resource allocation across Novo Nordisk’s global production sites. We seek a strong individual contributor who excels in planning, coordination, and collaboration across teams, ensuring that financial insights drive meaningful impact.
Your tasks include:
Provide strategic financial guidance to the CMC&PS organization, focusing on resource allocation and developing impactful business cases. Create and present clear decision and business review materials for senior stakeholders. Foster transparency in financial details, bringing a cohesive and comprehensive perspective to support decision-making. Act as a link between CMC&PS Finance and Corporate Finance, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration. Challenge the status quo within production areas while being a trusted sparring partner. Enhance financial and data processes to enable fact-based decision-making and improve overall transparency across CMC&PS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in financial processes, fostering a culture of continuous learning and shared success.In this role, you will have frequent opportunities to interact with senior management and engage with stakeholders across the organization. Qualifications
To be considered for the position, we expect that you:
Hold a master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field, along with 5 to 8 years of experience in business finance or strategic roles. Have strong expertise in financial analysis and planning, with a solid understanding of financial processes that inform resource allocation decisions. Demonstrate a keen business acumen and a natural curiosity, essential for understanding complex business dynamics and supporting effective decision-making. Communicate financial information in a clear and concise manner, making it accessible to senior stakeholders. Be skilled in PowerPoint and Excel for presenting data and insights; familiarity with SAP and BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) is a plus. Show proficiency in building collaborative relationships across teams and managing stakeholders effectively. Be fluent in spoken and written English, as it is the corporate language.As a person, you are proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. About The Department
CMC&PS is the largest organizational unit in Novo Nordisk with more than 20,000 employees globally across five continents. The area is responsible for the full supply chain of all Novo Nordisk products. You will be part of the Business Finance team residing in the CMC&PS Finance department. The department consists of around 35-40 people from ~15 countries with diverse backgrounds. Located in our Bagsværd headquarters, while relocating to Høje Taastrup in Q4 2025, the department acts as a center of excellence in financial planning, production accounting, investments, and compliance for Novo Nordisk globally. The team is characterized by openness, dedication, a strong focus on well-being and highly engaged colleagues who work dedicated towards helping us change lives for the benefit of our patients worldwide.
