This role will focus on business partnering and performance management while maintaining oversight of accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls. North America and Australia is the largest business unit within Paula’s choice generating 2/3 of the Revenue and well-established across D2C, Marketplace and Wholesale channels. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep financial acumen, and a proven track record of driving business performance through strategic insights and decision support. **As a Senior Finance Director of North America & Australia, a typical day might include a mix of the following:** **Strategic Business Partnering:** + Collaborate with the North America and Australia leadership teams to drive business performance and strategic initiatives. + Provide financial insights and recommendations to support key business decisions, including pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, channel strategies and assessment of expansion opportunities. + Act as a trusted advisor, influencing cross-functional leaders on financial priorities and trade-offs. **Performance Management:** + Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for North America and Australia. + Develop and monitor KPIs, financial dashboards, and performance reports to ensure the business meets financial targets. + Identify risks and opportunities in financial performance and implement corrective actions where necessary. **Accounting & Controlling Oversight:** + Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with global accounting standards and policies. + Oversee financial controls, audits, and compliance processes to safeguard company assets. + Partner with the global accounting team to support month-end close, financial consolidations, and statutory reporting requirements. **Team Leadership & Development** + Lead and develop a high-performing finance team (3 direct reports + 3 indirect) + Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration. + Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to finance team members. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** + Work closely with channel/market leads, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to optimize business performance. + Support supply chain finance initiatives, including cost management, procurement planning, and Working Capital management. + Collaborate with Prestige's and Unilever’s global finance networks to align regional strategies with corporate objectives. **The Details:** + Location: We are based in Seattle, WA. Flexible to location, but local candidates are preferred. + Hours: Typical PST Business Hours, some flexibility + Physical requirements: Ability to handle both sitting and screen time for long periods of time + Travel requirements: ~ 10-15% **What you’ll bring to the table:** + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred). + 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in consumer goods, beauty, or retail industries. + Demonstrated expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), business partnering, and performance management. + Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting standards. + Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders. + Experience leading and developing diverse, geographically dispersed teams. + Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems, business intelligence platforms). **What can help you really stand out:** + Strategic thinking and problem-solving + Analytical and data-driven decision-making + Leadership and team development + Cross-functional collaboration + Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment **Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location:** **$205,000 - $215,000 USD/annually** _\#LI-NG1_ Paula’s Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
