About this opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer - NFVI to join our team at Ericsson who will be responsible for maintaining and managing the telco cloud network infrastructure, including switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, and SDN solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of the network and provide technical support to customers.
What you will do
Develop proficiency in NFVI products – Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, Mavenir & Vmware - to be able to support the operations for customer networks.Cross skill competence building which include Server Hardware, Storage, Network, Tools etcAssist in learning ways of working for Cloud NFVI Operations for Telco Customer
You will bring
5-10 years relevant experience required in NFVI.Strong Linux & OpenStack Background (Redhat, Mirantis)Hand-on experience on working with Dockers & Kubernetes operations with Flavours like Redhat OpenShiftExpertise in Ericsson Cloud products like CEE and CNISKnowledge of Hyperscale Cloud Hardware Platforms (Ericsson HDS8000 & BSP8100, Dell), HPE)Good Working knowledge of Cloud Storage Products (Nexenta, ScaleIO, Ceph)Familiar with Network Technologies (Switches, Routers, Load Balancers)Knowledge of Tools like Zabbix, ZenOSS, Nagios Log Server, Ericsson OMCScripting Knowledge via Bash, Python, AnsibleBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
