Role Overview:
As a Software Engineer in Corporate Solutions at Mastercard, you’ll work with modern full-stack development practices with a focus on microservice and database development. We’re building a global business-to-business (B2B) technology platform to help businesses of all sizes streamline how they manage payments when buying or selling products and services.

You will work in our Mastercard technology hub, which provides a state-of-the-art environment for technology teams to thrive in our collaborative, Agile engineering culture. You will play a key role in how Mastercard transforms the B2B space to standardize, automate, and optimize digital payment efficiency for buyers and sellers.

The role will require you to:

•\tContribute to the planning, design, and development of microservices on your team.
•\tBuild Java microservices that work with Angular and third-party applications
•\tDeliver code with exceptional quality and security that operates at scale
•\tParticipate in code reviews and retrospectives, and submit Pull Requests using Git
•\tCollaborate with software engineers, test engineers, TPMs, and PMs
•\tEnsure that you use 12-factor app design principles in your development.
•\tEnsure that the systems you create comply with Mastercard engineering best practices and governance models, including security, operations, and Enterprise Architecture requirements

Required Experience:
•\tYou have experience building applications using Java and PCF
•\tYou have extensive experience with Java APIs
•\tSome experience with web technologies, including HTML, Javascript and front-end frameworks such as Angular
•\tOptimizing applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
•\tSolid SQL development knowledge (i.e. PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc…) and delivering solutions that leverage them at a massive scale
•\tYou have exposure to automated testing and releasing software in a continuous delivery model using Git
•\tYou enjoy working in an Agile team focused on continuous improvement
•\tYou have a strong desire to learn best practices and modern software architecture and collaborate within a team
•\tYou are passionate about the art of delivering the highest quality software to customers
•\tYou have excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people
•\tBachelors degree

Nice To Have:
•\tExperience working within the commercial card space or corporate banking
•\tStrong ability to multi-task, organize, manage, and implement complex projects whether directly or through supervision
•\tOperates with minimal supervision and able to make informed, well-reasoned decisions independently
•\tThrives in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer-oriented
