The Senior Engineer, Manufacturing for Leica Biosystems is responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects from conception to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project and process engineering, with experience in chemical formulations, manufacturing processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards, preferably in FDA-regulated environments.
This position is part of the Manufacturing Science and Engineering team that reports into site operations located in Richmond, IL and will be onsite. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.
You will be a part of the Manufacturing Science and Engineering team and report to the Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, responsible for providing manufacturing engineering support to the Core Histology Consumables business unit.
