Currently, the three product areas - Video Systems, Access Control & Intrusion and Communication Systems, as well as the associated cross-divisional functions within the division are to be set up as a new independent company and then further developed as a sustainable core business by a new owner.

As Senior Electronic HW Engineer, you will be part of the new company to be set up this year and thus contribute to a globally networked team of +4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.

Job Description

Your contribution to something big: 

Design and develop complex high-speed digital and analog circuits, including high-speed interfaces (e.g., PCIe, USB, Ethernet) and RF circuits.Perform detailed circuit and EMC simulations using standard tools to verify performance and optimize designs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and test engineers.Creation of all relevant Technical Product Documentation, such as specifications, schematics, study reports, test scripts and design descriptions.Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware designs.Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues. 

 

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Proficiency in electronic hardware architectures for real-time embedded systems, SoC, microprocessors, Ethernet, and powerFamiliarity with oscilloscopes, logic and spectrum analyzersIn-depth knowledge of common hardware and software protocols such as Ethernet, WiFi, USB, Bluetooth, RFID, MIPI, DDR, and PCIeStay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Skills and Qualifications:

Degree in Electronic Engineering5-10 years of experience in electronic hardware design, with a strong focus on high-speed circuits.Experience in developing ARM32 and 64-bit microcontroller circuits, including DDR4 memory and drivers for connectivity (USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth)Experience with SoC (System on Chip) development with integrated connectivity functions (wireless, Bluetooth).Experience in signal integrity and power integrity analysis, preferably including the use of simulation tools.Experience with high-speed interface design and testing.Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., EMC).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork skills.
