POSITION PURPOSE
The incumbent (EHSS Consultant / Engineer) is responsible for assuring that the best practices related to Environment, Health, Safety and Security are in place supporting the operational requirements for Brazil & Paraguay Commercial teams and R&D projects: complying with legal requirements, Corteva guidelines and safe & security conditions Working under the available budget. He/she is also responsible for applying techniques and concepts, related to different EHS and Security areas. Besides this the incumbent is responsible to train all workforce (administrative and operational) according to the corporate planning and needs be involved with:

EHS Compliance
Leverage and fill corporate tools (GSI – Sistema de Gestão Integrado as RSDATA, ETQ Reliance, 3E Project and others) to capture exposure to environmental risks related to industrial hygiene and provide the best safety measure to avoid exposure.Ensure implementation of local legal requirements (NRs) following the Standards established by Corteva, technical standards and current legislation.Monitor various inspections in the unit, as well as technical expertise from Labor Complaints.Responsible for the Risk Management Plan (PGR – NR1) , providing risk identification and control for all Corteva offices in the Hub. Ensuring that the data from the offices/commercial area is updated in the RSData system for issuing the legal documents (PGR/GRO and PPP) and sending them to the government in regular basis per Legal requirement. Ensure compliance and work to solve issues related to information entered into government system eSocial.Driving Safety

Leveraging enterprise tools to capture injury/illness events and near misses, investigate thoroughly, report and classify correctly and consistently into ETQ Reliance.Ensure incident learnings are addressed, properly communicated and action items implemented.Work together with the leaders of the Commercial areas and functions to identify activities outside Corteva's sites and identify the hazards and risks supporting the implementation of the policy "No Corteva Location".Regulatory Alert Process
Review new, proposed and updated regulations, determine applicability and communicate to impacted locations.Periodically review all licenses applicable to EHS-related offices and business activities and ensure sites keep the Control document updated in SharePointGrowU Training System
Support the management of the Learning Management System (offices training matrix and GrowU update) to assign and document training.Colaborate with the local training coordinator to ensure that the right Job Role and applicable trainings are assigned to the employees from offices and commercial areaVerify training compliance by the workers and coordinate region actions for completion of the required training.Audits and field visit
Support the region's second party audit team by auditing Emergency Response/Fire Safety and other Standards whenever required to participate by the lead auditorCoordinate first party audits through the development of a Self-Assessment Plan for each location. Register the audit reports (Self-Assessments) into ETQ Reliance, in order to keep properly records and ensure action items are in place.Visit the offices and activities that are carried out in the field by the Commercial area to help everyone's safety.Check and update site documentation to ensure compliance with Corteva standards and legal requirements. Inform and track standards implementation status in ETQ Reliance.Human Resources
Disciplinary Policy, new employees onboarding, preparing legal documents, send safety information for the Government (2240 e-social, PPP) and ensuring that all employees receive the necessary training for the tasks they will perform.Report Hours worked and miles driven by sites in ETQ Reliance in monthly basis.Emergency Response
Develop/review the emergency plan for offices and commercial operations (as needed) and coordinate activities of fire prevention for each office, keeping documentation and training of emergency brigade members up to date.Be part and lead the brigade team (maintain an updated brigade list, schedule meetings or training when necessary, etc.), as well as be the communication channel between the condominium and Corteva in cases of emergency.Manage the fire fighting system, maintaining mapping of the location and validity of extinguishers.Area Commercial Safety Committee
