This role will oversee the sales, marketing and purchasing strategy for new builds, renovations, and conversions, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution aligned with brand and design standards. The Senior Director partners closely with owners, management companies, global design, operations, and brand leaders to deliver project excellence, while managing customer relationships and ensuring on time and on budget delivery of projects. As a key member of the Continent Procurement leadership team, the individual will provide strategic direction, lead a team of procurement professionals, and represent procurement initiatives at senior levels. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in hotel openings, renovations and FF&E/OS&E procurement. Successful candidate will have a track record of project execution and team development, with a strong ability to navigate a fast-paced and matrixed environment. **CANDIDATE PROFILE** **Education and Experience** Required + BA/BS in business, finance and/or 15+ years of business, purchasing and project management experience using an purchasing system (SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle).knowledge of hospitality, lodging or adjacent sector. + Demonstrated ability to create strategy and implement change while managing a geographically dispersed team in a highly matrixed cross-discipline environment. Preferred + Experience working for hotel ownership, management companies, or third party purchasing companies + Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team. **CORE WORK ACTIVITIES** + Create and implement sales strategies to drive top line sales and increase capture rate + Develop and execute purchasing strategies for FF&E and OS&E categories + Build long-term partnerships with preferred suppliers and manufacturers + Lead purchasing for new builds, renovations, and brand conversions + Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of all FF&E/OS&E packages + Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels and maintain supplier performance and compliance + Work closely with design, development, brand, and operations teams and ensure alignment on specs, brand standards, and timelines + Track procurement budgets and forecast spend and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality + Optimize procurement workflows, tools, and systems and standardize specifications and streamline processes + Coordinate shipping, warehousing, and installation timelines and troubleshoot disruptions or delays + Ensure adherence to brand standards, legal, and ethical sourcing practices while evaluating supplier risk and sustainability credentials + Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals + Set goals, drive performance, and build capability + Provide updates to leadership and project teams and presents metrics, risks, and recommendations clearly The salary range for this position is $141,700 to $225,700 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus and restricted stock units/stock grants. **Washington Applicants Only:** Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
