This particular position resides in our GloriaFood team which was an acquisition from 2021 – we have commenced a journey that involves building a fully automated digital solutions stack for the small business sector that is frictionless from the point of purchase to the point of going live meaning the customer can do everything themselves; it’s taking the speed and efficiency from B2C and enabling it within B2B – this is a first within Oracle. We are excited to have a very unique opening for a Senior Director that will be accountable for the product strategy and development that will help us master the global Food & Beverage sector, a billion-dollar opportunity but then mobilize us in broader industries.
Key responsibilities include:
Own the technology vision, strategy, and product roadmap for our GloriaFood portfolio. Manage an experienced team of product managers, engineers and CX designers. Define the roadmap with a team of product managers, prioritizing features and enhancements based on user feedback and business goals. Develop a market leading product utilizing all Oracle IP where possible through managing a team of software engineering leaders. Build for the customers by providing services that “meet them where they are”, requiring no friction for them to manage – advocate for self-service design practices throughout the product development lifecycle. Design product to create intuitive, attractive, and functional frontends. Take responsibility for the horizontal initiatives including the development of common components for all Oracle Cloud Services and drive adoption over multiple business units. Coordinate product releases and manage timelines, risks, and scope. Lead by example, setting a clear culture of teamwork, high expectations, success, and customer focus. Foster and maintain strong/positive relationships across other groups and teams within Oracle. Recruit and retain the best technical talent to help achieve our goals. Coach and lead the team to create rock-solid services that lead to remarkable products. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, strong communication skills, analytical skills, a thorough understanding of software engineering best practice. Measure, analyze, track and report business, process, and quality metrics to achieve targets while analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement. Develop senior-level customer and internal relationships as required working with all functions including marketing, customer success, sales and operations.Career Level - M5
