Who You Are:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer for Oracle Local Government you will play a meaningful role in building, deploying and maintaining our SaaS infrastructure and applications

Job Description: Deploy and maintain SaaS Applications on top of our Apex, NetSuite and Utility Billing platforms Play an active role in the setup of OCI infrastructure, configurations and automation of system environments and processes  Setup, improve and maintain Monitoring and other DevOps activities Mentor junior level team members  Plan, execute and improve patching and security activities on OCI based instances Frequently scan infrastructure and applications for security and update inventory  You will take on some technical program management projects as well, forecasting future infrastructure budgets and other activities.  You will be part of a team which is responsible to ensure the product life cycle and CI/CD pipeline, processes and tools are enhance and performing to highest SLA standards  Engage with Global Security and IT teams to analyze and define best practices for security, performance, and cloud infrastructure. Resolve development / troubleshoot solution issues and get final delivery done according to time constraints Follow the SCRUM framework & methodology Minimum Qualifications: 4+ years’ experience in a DevOps related role Expert in troubleshooting OS and application issues on all IaaS layers (Application, Data, Runtime, Middleware, O/S), investigating application as well as Operation System performance issues. Extensive knowledge of Linux Knowledge of monitoring systems with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios Must have programming/scripting experience: Java, Python, Perl, bash-scripting, with Rest API knowledge Excellent written and documentation skills Excellence of understanding and applying of security standard and best practices Must have Cloud knowledge – OCI (preferred), AWS or Azure Strong hand-on work knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes and other DevOps solutions Worked in Agile frameworks Worked with Jira and Confluence

 

Preferred Qualifications: Oracle Database and SQL Skills Ability to write Selenium or Playwright tests using Java Experience in AI driven Automation or other AI/ML Understanding of structured query language (PL/SQL), relational database design, and stored procedure development with Oracle
