Job Title: Senior Developer
Location: Palo Alto, CA

Purpose and Objective:
SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Senior Developer at our Palo Alto, CA location to interact with Product Managers to understand requirements and apply them to Integration solutions.
Expectations and Tasks:
Discuss and review the design approach with Architect and Development team Co-ordinate with cross functional teams to realize the solution. Work on Proof of Concept (POC) to certify that the solution will work as per the design. Document design specifications to allow knowledge distribution and approval as part of the solution. Develop Integration Solutions using Java/J2EE, XSLT, SAP ERP/ HANA, etc. Code the solutions based on design specification using Agile methodology. Code review with Architect and other developers. Coordinate with QA team members to certify the developed solution is working as expected. Fix bugs found during QA Testing. Develop monitoring tools to ensure the applications are running at its best with high availability. Run performance testing over the applications to get the benchmark associated to it. Propose enhancements to applications based on the results of performance testing and monitoring tools. Explore on new technologies to propose and apply them to existing or new integration solutions. Proof of concept creation to demonstrate the new technology can be applied to Integration solutions.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:
SAP Business Technology platform and SAP Internet of Things;
SAP Kyma (Kubernetes Runtime);
SAP HANA XS Advanced runtime;
CI-CD framework, including Piper, Hyperspace and Jenkins;
Micro service architecture;
SAP Analytics;
Quality plan management and Tools, including Selenium, SUPA and Jmeter; and
Programming and Scripting Languages, including Java, Python and Bash.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $151,079 - $234,444. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $151,079 - $266,300. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
