The Developer is a member of the procurement innovation team within SAP Ariba Product Support.  We are seeking creative, logical, and detail-oriented candidates with an appreciation of usability and a strong development background.  You will have the opportunity to interact with every organization within SAP.  You will be a part of a highly respected and thriving global team.

 

What you'll do

 

Serve as a developer for SAP Ariba Product Support developing web-based platforms that serve internal employees and external customers, partners, suppliers, and prospects.

Development projects include content management and delivery, ticketing systems, dashboards, search engine integration, data warehousing, automated workflows, and integrations with translation, CRM, phone, and other cloud product platforms.

We are seeking creative, logical, and detail-oriented candidates with an appreciation of usability.

Candidates need not possess every skill listed below but should enjoy learning new disciplines.

 

What you bring

 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline

8+ years Experience, in SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP) Cloud Foundry or Kyma

Experience in UI development using JavaScript and web development frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, and/or SAP UI5)

Experience with Node.js

Experience with cloud hosted software and common cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Python and Jenkins

Experience building scalable applications with microservice architecture

Experience working with Git and CI/CD.

Expertise working with SQL databases. Exposure to NoSQL is a plus but not necessary.

Exceptional ability to write clear, readable, modular, scalable, efficient software

Strong problem solving and communication skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work both as an individual and as a team member
