The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Cyber Operations Center (CYOC) Shift Lead to oversee the daily shift operations of the Cyber Operations Center (CYOC) supporting USSTRATCOM. This role involves leading a team of cybersecurity professionals, ensuring the effective monitoring, detection and response to cyber threats.

The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.

Responsibilities:

Cyber Operations Center (CYOC) Shift Lead, Senior:

Serves as shift lead for CYOC security personnel during assigned shift

Plans, implements, upgrades, or monitors security measures for the protection of computer networks and information

Ensures appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure

Ensure team members are trained in current cyber threats, tools, and protocols

Responds to computer security breaches and viruses

Manages the networks by monitoring and coordinating planned outages; identifies and tracks unplanned outages and reports/approves network fix actions

Prepare and present shift reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats to senior leadership.

Document all incidents and responses in accordance with established protocols for future reference.

Conduct post-incident reviews and recommend improvements to processes and tools

Executes decision-making authorities and establishes vision and direction for an organization’s cyber and cyber-related policies, resources, and/or operations, while maintaining responsibility for risk-related decisions affecting mission success

Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments

May supervise others

Qualifications:

Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field

Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

Required 8140 Cert within 6 months of start date: 451 - Advanced; FITSP-O or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training

AND

Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and incident response methodologies

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,000 - $163,800
