Senior Credit Governance Reporting Specialist

Role Overview: As a Senior Credit Governance Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and generating both internal and external control reports for Credit Governance. This includes creating projections and impact analyses for credits (Incentives, Contractual Credits, SLA Credits) by Line of Business (LOB) and credit type, assessing their effect on the company’s Free Cash Flow (FCF). You will also collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure the proper application of credit governance procedures across different business units.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and generate internal and external credit governance reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory and internal standards. Develop detailed projections and impact analysis for credits by LOB and credit type, assessing their effect on the company’s financial position, specifically focusing on Free Cash Flow (FCF). Oversee and track credit governance processes to ensure compliance with credit policies and guidelines, including mitigating any potential risks or discrepancies. Collaborate with key stakeholders across finance, accounting, sales, and operations to provide actionable insights on credit impact and drive informed decision-making. Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management and other stakeholders, providing a clear analysis of credit data and trends. Lead the identification of trends, discrepancies, and potential risks within credit data to improve forecasting and risk mitigation strategies. Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong background in credit management, finance, accounting, or a related field with at least 2-5 years of experience in credit management or financial reporting. Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, or similar), with the ability to manipulate complex data sets and present findings clearly. Solid understanding of financial concepts, particularly the impact of credit on Free Cash Flow (FCF), revenue forecasting, and budgeting. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with senior stakeholders, present data insights, and make recommendations for process improvements. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reporting and analysis, and the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure. Proven ability to work independently and within a team, with a proactive approach to solving problems and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in creating financial reports for different business areas, including senior-level stakeholders and external auditors. Language Skills: Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

Desirable Skills:

Experience in business forecasting, with a focus on credit and financial planning. Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems, with experience in working with large-scale data sets and systems. Understanding of operational and financial impacts of credit policies, with a proven ability to identify and address inefficiencies or risks. Experience in risk management, specifically related to credit governance and financial compliance. Ability to develop and implement process improvements within the reporting framework to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Advanced Excel skills, including working with pivot tables, macros, and financial modeling tools.
